JOIN BAMBOO NOW Let's Build a Bamboo Nest Together
The main curation theme of the mobile exhibition explores contemporary perspectives and actions regarding bamboo from the perspective of "Now" (the present, the current moment). The exhibition venue, curation, and installation art were all created collaboratively by young teams, viewing this material and craftsmanship with a thousand-year cultural history through the eyes of this generation, discovering the deep-seated wisdom and innovative possibilities of bamboo. The exhibition connects physical displays with online digital information, allowing visitors to obtain more in-depth digital guided tour information on content of interest through keywords or QR codes. This also extends the value of the exhibition further, making it no longer just a disposable communication interface.

In addition to its eye-catching exterior, stepping inside reveals a spacious, comfortable, and cool environment. This is also a "retractable mobile exhibition hall"! Through two types of collapsing structures combined with the sturdy yet lightweight material characteristics of bamboo, the structural design team has created an exhibition hall that is easy to move and can be repeatedly reused in different locations. This fully demonstrates the flexible and innovative potential of bamboo, setting an excellent example for future applications of mobile architecture.
Since the campaign for "2021 World Bamboo Congress in Taiwan" kicked off on World Bamboo Day on September 18 at the Taoyuan Land Art Festival, visitors have not only experienced outdoor art and the natural environment—stimulating their senses and souls—but have also obtained information about bamboo-related activities across Taiwan, including courses, exhibitions, workshops, and co-creation events. This embodies the idea that "sustainability" is not only an issue that cannot be ignored today, but also an action that everyone, especially the younger generation, must take immediately.
