Concept
Using the mountain ridge line as the base form, the "mountain" in the concept is split into two, creating the space between the mountains.
Next, adjust the entire form according to the site's texture, incorporating concepts such as function, behavior, interaction, and circulation.
The openings on both sides not only create a circulation path, but also establish an interactive relationship between the artwork and the surrounding space.
And visitors can even view the historically significant Zhuxi Station through various openings and holes.
And the reason it is called MRShortcut is because we hope that, in addition to being viewed by visitors, it also serves as a shortcut for visitors to quickly cross to both sides of the flatbed truck.
# Review
The work purely discusses the foreground and background relationship of mountains, constructed using two curved surfaces. The interesting part is their base, which takes the form of a floor, making the floor also a curve. My suggestion for this group is that, currently, the upper waveforms and the floor's form appear disconnected, which is a bit of a pity. If the spacing and character of the floor could also approach those of the two side walls, it might not be easy to create height variations, but by making some slight undulations to align the approaches, it would feel like a combination of three directional curved surfaces, preventing the floor from seeming detached.
