Taiwan Bamboo Society
Taiwan Bamboo Society is a national non-profit organization that aims to serve as a platform for exchange across bamboo industries in Taiwan and abroad. In the global green economy, we promote information, technology, culture, education, and outreach, using international exchange to inspire local industry development and help Taiwan’s bamboo sector thrive again.
Our members work across bamboo cultivation and management, bamboo research and education, bamboo processing and craft, bamboo architecture, engineering, and landscape fields. They come from industry, government, and academia, and are committed to foundational research, practical applications, cultural and educational promotion, the revitalization of Taiwan’s bamboo economy, sustainable bamboo forest development, and international collaboration across disciplines.
